Category: Oakleaf Hydrangea
Snow in summer? No thanks - unless the "snow" in question is the stunning snowflake-like flowers of 'Pee Wee' oakleaf hydrangea. Its name is a bit of a misnomer (it is on the small side, but not the smallest of all oakleaf hydrangeas), because what makes this plant special is the distinctive shape of the florets. Each petal (technically a sepal) is dramatically pointed at the end, creating a flurry of snowflakes that look super cool all summer long. Enjoy the same fantastic display of fall color that makes oakleaf-types the hydrangea for all seasons!
